My story

Negra is a shy but sweet kitty with a soft heart and a beautiful black coat. While she’s still learning to fully trust humans again, she’s shown she has love to give with the right patient and experienced person by her side. Negra will thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and take her time opening up. She enjoys watching the world from a sunny window and playing gently with string toys when she feels comfortable. A typical day for Negra includes relaxing in a quiet spot, observing her surroundings, and slowly getting closer to the people she’s learning to trust. Negra is not currently up to date on her vaccinations and will need a caring adopter who can help her with vet visits at her pace. She may do well with another calm cat but would prefer a peaceful, dog-free home. If you have a kind heart and a gentle approach, Negra will reward you with quiet companionship and her own special way of showing love.
