My story

Meet Tammy 💕 Tammy is a gentle, wide-eyed girl who’s had quite the whirlwind lately. After being brought into foster care as a stray, she surprised everyone by giving birth to four kittens the very next day! (We’re pretty sure she was just as surprised as we were.) Even in the midst of all that change, Tammy proved to be an amazing mama—so loving, calm, and attentive. As her kittens grew, she slowly began to come out of her shell. She’d stretch out her big mittened paws like she owned the place and would quietly rub against our legs at mealtime, her way of saying “thanks.” Tammy is still a little shy and may give a nervous hiss if she’s unsure, but she’s never been aggressive. She prefers to quietly retreat or observe from a safe spot. She was always completely at ease with us handling her babies—watching with the most serene expression from nearby. She loves her food (big plus for earning her trust!) and is starting to get curious about toys now that her kittens are weaned. We can’t wait to see her learn what it means to just be a cat again—safe, cozy, and cared for. Tammy is looking for a calm, patient home where she can keep blooming. With love and a little time, this sweet mama will show you just how special she is. 💖
