My story

Groucho is anything but a grouch! This fun loving (& only) boy and his 3 sisters are typical happy, playful puppies. Groucho is so smart. He will sit for a treat and a toy and he will give you his full attention for longer than most pups his age. He is going to make someone very happy! Groucho is good with people, kids and other dogs; we do not know how he feels about cats. At about 5 months old, Groucho is about 19 pounds. Please help Groucho find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, microchipping and vetting. **If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
