My story

Please ADOPT REGGIE! He's a particularly special case. This guy came in as a stray, but we strongly suspect he was a bait dog due to his mannerisms, scars and TEETH. His canines appear to have been drilled or ground off. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but everything is terrifying to him! We want nothing more than to see the perfect adopter come forward to give this guy all the love and attention he truly needs. Potential adopters should be prepared for trial in patience as this guy acclimates to a quieter, loving and SAFER environment. It could take some time for Reggie to come out of his shell. He deserves it! While we *think* he'd be good with kids, cats and other pups, they should be on the gentler end all around and he needs A CALM environment. Reggie desperately needs a soft place to land and call his forever loving home. Adopting Reggie offers a chance to give this deserving dog a fresh start, filling his life with safety, trust and happiness; and helping him transform into the sweet, confident companion he was meant to be. updated 05/17/25
