My story

Tex isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t just a dog, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s a full-on experience. At 2 years old and 50 lbs of pure sweetness, this pittie mix is equal parts cuddle buddy, playmate, and heart-melting gaze machine. Rescued from a heartbreaking situation at the last minute (thanks, DoorDash hero!), Tex is now thriving and ready to find his forever bestie. Tex will chase stuffies, run the backyard like itâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s his racetrack, and play joyfully with his foster dog siblings (70, 50, and 30 lbs,heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s got range!). But when the zoomies are over, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s all about that snuggle life. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll curl up next to you on the couch, nap by your feet, and give the sweetest, quiet forehead hugs that will make your heart melt into a puddle. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s potty trained, food motivated (weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re talking will work for kibble levels of dedication), and loves everyone he meets after a little polite alert bark to announce new arrivals, of course. Tex would thrive in a home with another dog who likes to play, and a human or two who are down for daily hugs, shared naps, and a lifetime of loyalty. He hasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t met kids or cats yet, but with a little guidance, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s the kind of dog whoâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s always eager to please and quick to adapt. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
