My story

Meet Blue – your soon-to-be BFF with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes! Blue’s been crashing at my place for just over two weeks now, and every day she lets a little more of her adorable, goofy self shine through. She’s around 2-3 years old, and a totally unique blend of Lab, Pit Bull, and Cane Corso – basically a cuddle monster wrapped in a sleek, soulful package. When she’s not snuggled up next to you (her favorite activity), she’s discovering the magical world of zoomies and the mysterious noises of everyday life. It’s clear she didn’t have the easiest start – she spent a month at the Stanislaus Shelter before being scooped up by California Bully Rescue. We don’t know much about her life before that, but it’s safe to say she wasn’t treated the way every pup deserves to be. Despite that, Blue is all heart. She LOVES people – like, could-be-a-professional-snuggler level love. She hasn’t been officially tested with other dogs or cats yet, but on walks, she perks up at passing pups with curiosity. As for cats… let’s just say she thinks they’re fun to chase (so maybe a cat-free home is best!). Blue’s still learning how to “dog” – she’s figuring out what toys are, slowly building confidence, and learning that the vacuum is probably not a monster. But she’s a quick study! She walks like a pro on a leash, takes stairs like a champ, rides in the car like a seasoned road-tripper, and has zero accidents in the house. Gold star! Her ideal home? Somewhere with older kids (toddlers might be a bit much for her right now), no cats, and humans who are cool with giving her a little extra love and patience as she continues to blossom. She’s super chill – happy to lounge all day or go on a little adventure with you. Her hobbies include: eating snacks, giving smooches, and admiring her gorgeous self in the mirror (a queen deserves to gaze upon her reflection, okay?). Blue is ready to find her forever humans – but until then, we’ll keep working on our tricks, boosting our confidence, and soaking up all the love we can. Come meet her. You’ll fall in love – We sure did. 💙

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Blueberry, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
