My story

Hi, I’m Lucky—and wow, do I live up to my name! Not because I’ve had an easy life, but because I’ve got the biggest heart and so much love to give to the right person. I’m what you’d call a certified Velcro dog—where you go, I go. If you’re on the couch, I’m snuggled next to you. If you’re in bed, I’m your snoring cuddle buddy. If you leave the room… well, I’ll probably try to open the door and follow you because hey, I really love being near my person.Within minutes of meeting me, I’ll be asking for gentle head pats and gazing at you with my big soulful eyes. I bond quickly and deeply—and I’ll be yours 100%, no questions asked.I’m fully housetrained, crate trained (though I might bark a little when you leave—I just miss you!), and I love going for walks. I also do these adorable zoomies when I’m happy… which is pretty much any time you’re around. Now, I’ll be honest—I’m not a fan of sharing my favorite humans with other pets. I just love you so much, I don’t want anyone else getting in the way! So I’d do best as your one and only, where I don’t have to compete for cuddles or attention. When other animals are around and you’re not close by, I’m fine. But once you’re in the mix? I want all your love for myself.If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly, deeply affectionate little shadow to be your best friend, I’m your girl. I promise I’ll love you forever.My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
