Missy

My story

Meet Missy, a precious 2.5 year old queen with the cutest underbite and sweetest personality! She is easy to leash and mostly walks with a loose leash with some mild pulling when she see something interesting like people, dogs, or the occasional squirrel but can be redirected with a simple command. Missy hops in a car all by herself and settles after a few minutes into the ride. Missy is the definition of a lover girl. She loves to be pet and to snuggle near her loved ones. She enjoys saying hi to people on walks politely and may stop traffic if it means getting some lovings. Missy is treat motivated and takes them ever so gently and knows how to sit. She would surely love to learn some new tricks as she is eager to please. In an apartment setting Missy is an excellent guest. After some light exploring she is content to lay on a couch with a chew beside you and eventually take a nap. Missy appears house trained and is move in ready! If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly, medium energy dog then Missy is the one for you! As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
