My story
Hi, I’m Athena! I’m a 9-year-old Carolina dog with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. I found myself at the shelter after my owner could no longer care for me, but I’m staying hopeful that my forever family is out there. I’m about 55 pounds of pure sweetness. I’m housebroken, and I know my manners—sit and stay are no problem for me! What I’m really looking for now is someone who will give me the love, pets, and companionship I’ve been missing. I may be a little older, but I still have plenty of tail wags, happy walks, and cuddles to give.
