My story

When you meet Rocky, our black and tan boy puppy who has got to be one of the most chill puppies on the planet!!!   He came in with his litter of five pups, and was found gathered at the end of a country home's driveway in the middle a stormy Friday afternoon where tornado warnings were being televised with urgent warnings in Middle Tennessee.  The little nuggets of Lab love, were anxious for attention and in need of medical care for wormings and just the usual puppy upkeep.  Parvo distemper shots were given, flea and tick meds, a vet visit and dewormings started with multiple sessions.  Soon all the puppies were thriving and surviving their former abandoned status.   The family who found them in their driveway were so kind to start the fostering process and work with Critter Cavalry Rescue to get them healthy and eventually all going to great homes.  Rocky is the last to go because honestly the foster family thought he was the best of the five.  He fits in so easily with his calm demeanor and his steady focus to learn and to love everyone.  But alas, the family has realized that their busy work and athletic activities for the children, along with care for the horses and current dogs,  they just couldn't give Rocky what he needed in time and attention.  They are lovingly allowing this excellent puppy to find his own home and family that will be so lucky to have such a good boy.  He is sporting some big feet and we feel that Rocky will be a 60+ pound boy when grown.  He is a relaxed personality and very loving and adaptive to any environment.  You couldn't ask for a better puppy.  He currently weighs 19 pounds and is still in the heavy puppy napping stage.  He cuddles, he plays and he just enjoys being wherever the living and breathing humans and animals are.  If you are interested in this boy, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   You won't find a puppy quite as good as this boy Rocky is at such a young age.  We estimate his birthday to be around the last week of February.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 20, 2025, 10:18 pm

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PUPPY ROCKY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
