My story

Charming is a male black with tan dachshund mix. He is 1-2 years old and he weighs about 19 pounds. Charming is recently neutered. He is vaccinated including rabies. Charming is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Charming is ready for adoption. Charming is Valentine #14 from our group rescued on Valentine’s Day, all pulled from the same overcrowded home. Charming is people and dog friendly. He is a pretty agreeable guy and very food motivated. Charming is crate trained and has done very well with potty habits. He is not trained to walk on a leash. Charming loves a good game of chase and makes friends easily. He would love a family and home of his own. Adoption fee is $275. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
