My story

Location: Maple Grove, MN Introducing Kita! She is a good girl who loves her humans and resident dog. She walks nicely on a leash and has low-to-medium energy and will just lay around and chill most of the time! She barks at our cat once in a while, but there has been no aggression. We feed her and our resident dog separately, because Kita initially showed a bit of possessiveness over her food. That is improving as she gets more comfortable in her foster home. She loves chew toys. She is very well house-trained and has had zero accidents. She likes to chase rabbits and squirrels, so a fenced yard or keeping her on a leash would be best. Her foster home doesn’t have a fenced yard, so a leash has worked just fine for going outside for potty breaks. She’s currently on wet food only because she had several teeth extracted from being worn down to the root. I’m happy we can now give her a much better life! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kita, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
