My story

Blaze is a friendly, easy-going boy with a soulful sweet face. He`s calm walking by other dogs, and leans in for pets and back scratches. A volunteer noted that he`s the sort of dog you just want to hang out with and grab a couple of brews - he definitely has that kind of vibe to him. He shows off a pretty adorable sploot when he`s relaxing in the yards outside his kennel. Others have noted that he appears to have medium energy, and can pull strongly on leash - though he responds well when his leash is reconfigured as a harness. Blaze would sure rather be hanging in a home instead of a shelter... might you be the one to make his wish come true ?This handsome guy recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  He wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as he gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, he’ll be ready to show us his silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
