My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. All dogs on our website ARE available and require an approved Best Friend Pet Adoption application before meeting any dog.  The link to our application is : https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC.   Are you looking for the cutest puppy ever?  Scout is your guy!  He is very loving and attentive. He loves other dogs and plays with dogs much larger than he is. He is small but mighty.  Scout would ideally love to have another dog in his forever home.  He is very friendly and smart.  He knows how to sit already.   Scout is working hard on his housebreaking and doing well.  He is used to having frequent potty breaks to reinforce his training.  His adopter will need to continue with frequent potty breaks.  He is learning how to use a doggie door and would like a fenced yard if possible. Now that Scout has two vaccines and can safely go for walks, his foster family will begin leash training.   Scout is a typical puppy who likes to nip, mouth and play bite.  So he so probably wouldn't be good for a really young children. Puppies can bark/cry when left alone.  So we don't recommend that Scout lives in an apartment, townhouse or condo with shared walls unless the adopter is home most of the day.   EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Scout has a rough start in life.  He was found as a stray at a very young age. He only weighed 2 lbs and was not in good health!  He had quite a few vet visits, wonderful care in a foster home and is now a healthy fun loving puppy.  He would love you to consider adding him to your home.  You won't be disappointed and will have a loving companion for life.   Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Our foster guardians deliver dogs to their new homes for adoption trials and we do home visits to finalize all adoptions.  We therefore require applicants to live within an hours drive of Cary NC. INTERESTED IN ADOPTING  SCOUT? If so, please fill out our dog adoption application by copying and pasting this link in a new browser window: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNCVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 20, 2025, 9:32 pm
