My story

Looking for a big meathead to be your shadow? Meet Lake! This handsome beefcake recently came to us as a stray along with a smaller dog. Lake is pretty nervous here in the shelter environment, and takes a little time to warm up to people. He is sweet as can be, and with a reassuring voice and some yummy treats he will simply melt into your hands. Lake loves affection, especially in the form of scratching those hard to reach places, and would love a family to dote on him all day long. Lake does well with other dogs and would likely appreciate a doggy playmate at home. While we are still getting to know Lake, we are sure that with some good TLC and time to decompress he will be a happy, goofy boy with all the love to give. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Lake home.
