My story

🌟 Almost 1 year without a family of her own/ homeless… and We Still Can’t Figure Out Why! 🌟 💖 Meet Sheba – Our Golden Girl with the Happiest Feet 💖 Sheba is an 8–10 year young Pointer/Pittie “Super-Mutt” mix with a heart as big as her smile (and maybe just a sprinkle of sass + sparkle ✨). At about 70 lbs, she is certain she is a lap dog and will not accept any other answer! She came to us after being surrendered to Animal Control when her owner moved, and despite her long stay there, she became a shelter favorite. Volunteers adored her sweet nature and her amazing manners—this classy lady would hold it for 14–16 hours rather than soil her kennel. Talk about dignity! 🙌 And yes, she’s still perfectly potty-trained in her foster home today. Now, Sheba is living her best foster life: snuggling into soft blankets, showing off her toy stash, strutting around in her piggy jammies, and dazzling everyone with her “happy feet” prance when she’s excited (imagine pure joy on four paws 💃🐾). Sheba is: ✨ Crate trained (but doesn’t need it—#GoodGirlClub certified) ✨ Dog-friendly with slow and proper introductions.. she would also be content as the "only child" in her home and being the apple of someone's eye! ✨ Polite on a leash and enjoys strolls but also doesn't need them everyday either ✨ A little bit of a sassy granny with BIG personality (she insists on being tucked in before bed 😍) ✨ UTD on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, HW tested & on prevention Sheba At a Glance: 🐶 8–10 years young ⚖️ 70 lbs of sugar and spice and everything nice 🛏️ Potty & crate trained 🐾 Dog-friendly 🦮 Great walking buddy 🧸 Toy collector, snuggle enthusiast, jammie model 💖 Gentle, loyal, and oh-so-loving Sheba is ready for her forever home—the kind of home where she’ll be cherished for the incredible, soulful, silly, sweet girl she is.
