My story

Say hello to Shadow! Shadow’s name is also a great description of his personality - he likes to follow you wherever you go! Shadow is a very curious and gregarious cat who will approach strangers and investigate new situations with no fear. He thrives on attention and activity. (He recently presided over a game night with 8 attendees and happily walked from lap to lap extracting maximum pets from everyone.) Shadow loves to play fetch with his toy springs, wrestle with stuffed animals in his play tunnel, and chase bird toys on strings. If you sit or lay down, he’ll come give snuggles and head butts for a few minutes and then usually settle in next to (not on) you. Shadow loves to explore every nook and cranny of a house, but doesn’t tend to knock things over or eat things he shouldn’t. He would love to have a perch near a window so he can look out over the neighborhood. Shadow does have a regressive form of Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). This means he is less contagious to other cats and less likely to have the secondary issues that usually come with FeLV, however we still recommend he be the single cat in his home!
