My story

My name is Jax and I am a 4-year old male Schnauzer who weighs 20 lbs. I was adopted as a puppy and have only had one owner. Recently, the health of my owner has declined and she had no choice but to surrender me to rescue. Since then I have been placed in a foster home with five other rescue boys and girls. I have had a physical, had my teeth checked and made current on all vaccines. I also am neutered and have a microchip. I absolutely love using the dog doors and hope to have one in my forever home. I get along great with all the other dogs but sometimes love just hanging out with my foster mom no matter what she is doing. I am quiet, rarely bark and know my house manners. My favorite thing to do is fetch... especially balls. You throw... I go! Plus, I return them too! Besides a dog door, my foster mom wants me to have a physical fenced yard as I came from the city so really appreciate how much fun the yard is as I love to run! In my dreams, I am a Greyhound!
