My story

Meet Noodle! Noodle is a 6-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix with a soft coat, a sweet soul, and a serious love for snuggles. Weighing in at 45 pounds, she’s a perfect mid-sized companion who’s just as happy on a walk as she is curled up beside you for a cuddle session. Noodle was surrendered due to conflict with another dog in her previous home, but during her time with us, she hasn’t shown any signs of dog aggression. In fact, she’s been calm and non-reactive on outings, so we believe she may be able to live with another dog given slow, supervised introductions and proper management. Friendly and affectionate, Noodle adores human companionship and walks politely on a leash—making her an ideal partner for strolls around the neighborhood or relaxing afternoons on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who's ready to soak up all the affection you can give, Noodle might just be your new best friend. Come meet her and see how quickly she’ll wiggle her way into your heart! The adoption fee is $350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.  Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.  ***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.  Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission.  ##785572##
