My story

Meet Betty, a 3.5-year-old Shepherd/Terrier mix with the sweetest heart and the cutest ears! Betty can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up (which doesn’t take long), she’s a total lovebug. She’s lived with cats before and has been known to get along well with smaller dogs, though she’d prefer not to share her home with bigger canine roommates. Betty is a smart girl who knows her basic cues like sit, down, stay, and come, and she was potty pad trained in her previous home. She’s also a treat connoisseur—favorites include WholeHearted chicken sticks, dehydrated lung, and kidney bully sticks. With her gentle nature and loyal personality, Betty is ready to find a cozy home where she can feel safe, loved, and spoiled like she deserves! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
