My story

Hi, I’m Dice! I’m a handsome guy with snowy white fur and adorable grey spots - and a gentle soul to match. I was rescued by the kind people at Smittens after needing a full mouth extraction due to painful stomatitis. Thankfully, I got the care I needed and have been healing up in a loving foster home. At first, I was shy and unsure - I’d hide in my carrier and only venture out when no one was looking. I even gave a few warning hisses when I felt overwhelmed. But after just a week of patience and gentle care, I came out of my shell. Now, I love hanging out in the open and soaking up pets from my foster mom! I haven’t had much experience with other cats, so slow and careful introductions would be best if I’m joining a multi-cat home. I’m a mellow, affectionate companion who would love a calm, cozy space to explore, play, and feel safe. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving buddy who just needs a little time to shine, I might be your perfect match!Dice tested FIV+ which is usually an incidental finding in healthy cats and Dice is a healthy boy! Feline Immunodeficiency Virus is a retrovirus sometimes passed (usually among intact outdoor cats fighting) through deep bite wounds. Most cats live long, normal lives never knowing they carry the dormant virus, but it is something to let your vet know about.
