My story

Meet Luna (fka Shay), a petite 24-pound Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of potential and a gentle soul. This shy little lady might be a bit reserved at first, but once she trusts you, she’s all in—climbing into your lap for snuggles and soaking up every bit of affection you offer.Submissive and sweet, Luna is the kind of dog who just wants to be loved. She`s beginning to show playful curiosity, whether it’s batting at a toy or wagging her tail at another pup. Her willingness to connect suggests there`s a fun, spirited side just waiting to emerge in the right home.Luna would thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. If you`re looking for a loyal sidekick who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Shay might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and watch her blossom.Luna recently met a social dog at our shelter and did fine, but she was shy and did her own thing.  She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out her playgroup video here: To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
