My story

🐾 Meet Bartlett 🐾 This shy sweetheart is still learning to trust the world outside her kennel. At first, Bartlett wasn’t quite ready to leave her cozy spot—but she gently licked my hand and stayed close, showing us there’s a loving heart behind those unsure eyes. 💛 She let me get a leash on her once but wasn’t quite ready to take that big step out. Bartlett reminds us a bit of Za—quiet, observant, and interactive when you give her space and patience. We believe with time, love, and a gentle hand, Bartlett will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. 🌼 Could you be the calm, understanding home she’s been waiting for? Staff Notes – Bartlett (5/20): Bartlett was very timid in her kennel and reluctant to walk on leash, so she had to be carried outside. Once outside, she perked up noticeably. She used the restroom right away and quickly bonded with staff, staying close and seeking affection. Bartlett is treat motivated and enjoyed cuddling. She’s a gentle soul who may just need a little time and patience to build confidence.
