My story

Hi there, I’m Cherry, a spunky pup with a heart full of love and a nose ready to boop! I’ve just finished raising a litter of adorable puppies. But now? Now it’s *my* time to shine, to be my own dog, and to find a forever home where I can play, cuddle, and maybe cause a little mischief.I’m all about fun, and nothing gets my tail wagging like a good chew toy—give me a squeaky bone or a runner ball, and I’m in heaven! I also have this thing for booping people with my nose; it’s my way of saying, “Hey, you’re my favorite!” Oh, and I’ll let you in on a little secret: I’m a notorious shoe and slipper thief.I’m ready to trade puppy-raising duties for a life of playdates, belly rubs, and maybe a few extra treats (I’m not above begging with my big, soulful eyes). I’d love a home where I can be your sidekick, whether we’re going for walks, playing fetch, or just chilling with my favorite chew toy. So, what do you say? Cherry is heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She is currently going through heartworm treatment. Once her treatment is complete it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test one month after and a heartworm test 9 months after. You will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until you have a negative microfilaria result. Cherry will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. The rescue will provide you with preventatives through the injection treatments, then it will be the adopter's responsibility. Once she receives a negative result on her heartworm test she will need to be spayed. The adoption can be finalized once treatment in complete and she is spayed. If you are interested in adopting Cherry, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Cherry - Foster to Adopt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
