My story

JUNA is a beautiful brindle girl; a Blackmouth Cur/Labrador mix who once had a family.  Sadly, her family surrendered her to a shelter because of her ongoing seizure episodes.  Everything she knew in her world fell apart; and to make matters worse, she ended up on the shelter euthanasia list.  Often, the dogs with medical needs are first on the list, and Juna was given a grim chance at survival.   We stepped in and rescued her within hours of euthanasia to give her a chance at a bright future! But because of her seizure disorder, her medications are costly and we are in need of help to get her the further testing she needs! With further evaluation and treatment, it’s possible she doesn’t have to live with these issues forever! She could be cured! Juna has a sweet demeanor and is being cared for by a wonderful foster, but she needs help to live the healthy & stable life she deserves.
