My story

This blue-eyed beauty is seeking a kind adopter to give her a second chance in her senior years. Relatively inexperienced with change and making new friends up to this point, Lucy has understandably found her arrival at the shelter overwhelming. Though she has been feeling a bit withdrawn, a soft voice and slow approach have helped her start to warm up, rev up the ol' purr motor, and lean into cheek scratches. In her last home, she never said no to tasty treats, and wasn't shy about asking for them. :) Lucy feels safest when allowed to set the terms for interactions, and may often show her affection by chatting or hanging out near her trusted people rather than seeking tons of cuddles. Her perfect humans will appreciate Lucy's charming qualities on their own merits and understand her boundaries.
