ALL ABOUT ME Name: Daesoon Age : 5 months old (Born on December 2024) Gender: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo corgi mix Colour: Black Weight: 7.2kg / 15lbs (still growing!) Hello, I’m Daesoon! I was born in a shelter with my brothers and sisters! Apparently, my dad and mom were rescued by these warm-hearted rescuers while they were living on the street. My mom was pregnant, walking on the busy road looking for some safety and food, and she was very lucky! This is how we were able to be born in a warm safe place and grow up all together. You can even find my parents listed on the Korean Animal Welfare Association website! MY HEALTH - Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) - I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues. MY PERSONALITY I am a calm, affectionate girl with the softest black coat and the cutest little white paws that look just like I’m wearing socks! I spend my days playing with my siblings, exploring the world around me, and soaking up all the love I can get. I'm a gentle soul who adores people, and you’ll see that the moment we meet. Whether you’re an old friend or someone brand new, I’m happy to be picked up, snuggled, and showered with affection. I lean into gentle touches and love nothing more than being close to the people I trust. I may be young, but I already know how to make hearts melt. MY SOCIAL SKILLS - With People: I’m a true social butterfly who loves making new friends and forms bonds in no time. I like to stay besides people and enjoy their company. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children just yet, but with a gentle and patient introduction, I’m sure I’ll charm them with my sweet nature and become their loyal little shadow in no time. - With Dogs: I can be a bit reserved when meeting new dogs—I like to greet them politely, but I don’t always jump into play right away. I can be a little selective with my canine companions, but once I’ve found a friend I click with, I love playing and spending time with them. Because I can get a bit defensive if I feel threatened, slow and mindful introductions are best to help me feel safe and confident around new dog friends. - With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m young, curious, and adaptable. With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I believe I’ll adjust just fine! ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I’m an energetic and curious pup who loves a good adventure! From racing around the yard to sniffing out new discoveries, I dive into every moment with excitement. After all the fun, I’m just as happy to curl up and recharge with some cozy downtime at home. TRAINING & HABITS I walk well on a leash and stay nicely focused on my handler, though I might pull a little if something catches my attention. I love to sniff and take in my surroundings—so don’t be surprised if I pause here and there for a quick “sniff inspection.” I’m a calm and quiet pup who enjoys peaceful walks at my own pace. When it comes to food, I have no issues sharing with people, but I may growl if another dog gets too close during mealtime, so feeding separately is best. I’m also potty trained and know how to do my business both indoors and outdoors. MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me grow and become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: - A family that offers a fun, structured, and safe environment where I can learn, explore, and grow into a well-behaved young adult. - A family that enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time together. - A family that can shower me with love and attention. SPECIAL NOTES Since I can be a bit selective with other dogs, I do best with slow, thoughtful introductions. I prefer to approach new dogs on my own terms—if another dog rushes up to me too quickly, it can startle me, and I might choose to keep my distance. I’m very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze, but I can be protective of my food around other dogs and may guard it. That said, I’m still a young pup, and with the right guidance, patience, and consistent training, I’m confident I’ll continue to improve and grow out of this habit.
