AMARETTO

My story

Amaretto is 4 months old. He is super sweet and affectionate. Active, playful. Tolerant of small children. Wants to play with other cats, but can be a bit enthusiastic, so they would have to be able to deal with that. Non-reactive to dogs. Amaretto is blind in one eye, and has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia, commonly known as "wobbly cat". He would make a great family pet. Amaretto needs people who love him just as he is, even with his quirks. CH does not get any worse, it is what it is. CH most commonly occurs when a pregnant cat becomes infected with feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) because she wasn't vaccinated, and passes the infection to her unborn kittens. This can impact the development of their cerebellum. The cerebellum in the brain is responsible for purposeful movement and coordination. Amaretto is able to function normally, as you can see, he just has poor balance. Sometimes, he may flop over a bit, but he doesn't know he is any different than any other kitty.
