My story

Cashew is a curious and playful three-year-old cat, looking for his forever home! This handsome, fluffy fellow is a bit reserved and will take some time to warm up to his new owners. He is very fond of our resident cats, however. He loves to cuddle up next to them and enjoys every moment of it. Cashew will be your cat’s best friend, even as he needs gentleness and compassion as he gets used to new humans. However, when he does come around, he will be super-loving and demand to be near you! His forever people will also have to commit to regular brushing of his lustrous, stunning coat, to keep him looking and feeling his best. This guy loves to play/lounge around the house, following his cat pals around or sitting near his humans to examine them when it’s mealtime or chill time. To start his day, this lovely fellow likes to find himself a nice window in the morning, where he can soak up the sun. Cashew’s ideal home needs to have other cats, as he is such a loving cat friend. He also needs a home that will be respectful of his space, understanding that it may take him some time to achieve his cuddly stage! Patience is key. Along with the essential cat friends, Cashew will thrive with respectful dogs and gentle older kids. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
