  FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED TODAY — PLEASE HELP ZENA! Zena is a 6-year-old, 68-pound American Staffy mix who is looking for a loving foster or adoptive home. She’s the perfect combination of loyal companion and playful sidekick. Born on April 20, Zena is ready to spend every birthday by your side, celebrating life together. She’s house trained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. She’s also great in the car and loves to be included in whatever her humans are doing. Zena knows her basic commands—sit, stay, lay down—and will eagerly give both paws when asked. She’s playful and fun, loves to chase birds and lizards in the yard, and is obsessed with fetch, belly rubs, and splashing around in the water. She even enjoys dressing up and is happy to settle in for a cozy movie night or head out for a walk. While she walks well on a leash, she can pull at times due to her excitement to explore. Zena is incredibly sweet and affectionate with people and wants nothing more than to be close to her humans. She does best as the only pet in the home, as she’s not a fan of cats or dogs and prefers a calm environment where she can soak up all the love and attention. She doesn’t beg, respects boundaries in the home, and has the perfect balance of relaxed and playful energy. Zena is past the chaos of puppyhood but still has plenty of life, love, and fun to offer.
