My story

Meet Rosie, an 8-year-old sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. This calm, laid-back girl found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own, and while the change in environment was hard, Rosie has remained the same sweet, steady soul everyone falls in love with. She gets along well with other dogs and is wonderful with kids, making her an ideal companion for a quiet, loving home. While we're not sure how she feels about cats just yet, Rosie has shown that she enjoys peaceful strolls—but due to her age and her pleasantly plump figure (which may or may not be thanks to her very food-motivated personality), she tuckers out quickly and is happiest with shorter walks followed by plenty of lounging. She loves nothing more than curling up in a soft dog bed or relaxing in the yard, soaking up the sunshine and fresh air. Rosie is the kind of dog who’s easy to be around—uncomplicated, affectionate, and happiest when near her people. If you’re looking for a mellow, loving companion who’s content to take it slow and enjoy the little things, Rosie would love nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick.
