My story

Animal Profile: Princess and Bear found themselves in need of rescue when their owner passed away unexpectedly. A contact in California reached out to see if we could help, and after hearing their story we had to say yes. Princess can be a little shy at first, but is sweet and friendly. She weighs 18lbs and is 2-years-old.    Foster Update: This spunky, energetic girl is full of life and love—and she's on the lookout for her perfect human to share it all with. Princess’s favorite things include chewing on bones, tossing around her stuffed animals, and doing full-speed zoomies around the house. She enjoys going for walks and thrives when she’s getting plenty of attention and affection. Her biggest wish? To be by your side as much as possible. While she’s sweet and affectionate, Princess does have a tendency to bark and would benefit from a patient adopter willing to do a little training to help her be her best self. She’s currently living with a cat and—while she doesn’t mean any harm—she does enjoy a good chase, so a home without cats (or one with a large, dog-savvy feline friend) would be best. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Princess was transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 04/27/25; she will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. June 28, 2025, 7:40 pm
