My story

Hello! My name is Donny, and I’m an adorable 1-year-old mixed breed, possibly a blend of Havanese and Shih Tzu, weighing about 22 pounds. I have a beautiful blond coat—I just got my summer cut, but my soft, fluffy fur will grow back soon and make me extra cuddly! I came from a home with many dogs, and while my previous family loved me, they wanted me to have the opportunity for more individual attention—so I’m now in the care of this wonderful rescue, looking for my forever home. At first, I was a bit shy, but I’ve really come out of my shell in my foster home, where I’m living happily with other dogs. Because of my background, I would love to have another dog buddy in my new home—it helps me feel safe and confident.
