Meet Sweet Zambo – 1,742 Days in a Shelter, and Still Full of Love ?? Zambo has spent nearly his entire life behind shelter walls, and we honestly don’t know why. He was brought in on August 8, 2020, and today marks day #1,742 in a kennel. But through it all, Zambo remains the absolute sweetest boy you could ever meet. At around 7 years old and weighing 55.8 lbs, Zambo is the definition of a gentle soul. He’s calm, low energy, and knows basic commands like “sit” and “shake”. He’s also heartworm negative, which is always great news for adopters. Zambo has a female playmate he enjoys spending time with during playgroups, showing he can be social and friendly with other dogs. This boy is more than ready for a second chance — a home where he can finally stretch out on a soft bed, take slow walks with his person, and feel love beyond the shelter walls. ? Zambo is waiting.
