HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Good with other cats DOGS: No dogs KIDS: No small kids KNOWN LIKES: Soft pets and calm KNOWN DISLIKES: Chaos and loud noise ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Marcy (short hair) and Marlie (long hair) are sisters surrendered to Homeward Trails during TRN in rural Virginia. They hadn’t had much socialization and had no hope for a stable home where they were. We’ve taken them in and our fosters have worked hard to socialize them. They do not need to be adopted together. Best in calm homes without small children or dogs. Marcy has blossomed into a social lap kitty. She doesn't like to be picked up and held or shoved into a cat carrier, but most cats don't. Marlie has gained a lot of confidence, coming to be pet and following her humans around, but she is quick to startle. She loves other cats and must be adopted to a home with a welcoming cat friend who will take her under their paw. She also is not a fan of being picked up.
