Scribble is easy going and as sweet as they come. He adores being with his person and getting gentle pets while returning the love with some happy head butts and snuggles.Scribble's other hobbies including soft brushes, warm sun beams and a good afternoon nap. He is curious about toys but seems to prefer just relaxing on the couch with his person. His favorite thing above all else is Churu treats! Scribble is FIV+, but positively fabulous and ready to come home. Scribbles favorite spot is right next to you, and can't wait to be there soon. This happy boy is now accepting adoption applications, available below!Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. About Ten Lives:Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
