My story

Meet Rum! Rum came to CCHS with her 4 siblings at the beginning of May from a local farm. This itty-bitty Heeler mix is about 8 weeks old and weighs 7.8lbs currently. Rum is a sassy gal! You will never have a boring day with this goofy girl by your side! She will wiggle her little butt all the way into your heart to show you exactly what you've been missing out on! While we can't say for certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she is 100% a loyal companion! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going.
