My story

Hi, I’m Lottie! My story started out a little rough — I was found tied to a tree with my newborn babies — but I haven’t let that stop me from being a sweet, loving girl ready for a new beginning.I love going on adventures like shopping trips, walks, and even attending meetings! I always do my business outside like a good girl, and when I meet new people, I’m soft, wiggly, and super friendly — wagging my tail and asking for pets with my best manners. I adore women and most shorter men and am always ready to soak up the love! Sometimes I get nervous around tall or larger men and might bark a lot — but if they move away, I calm down quickly and go back to being my sweet, cuddly self. I’m hoping my new family will be understanding about my past and help me continue to feel safe.My energy level is pretty easygoing — just one good walk and I’m ready to curl up and relax. I haven`t had the chance to meet kids, cats, or many other dogs yet on my adventures, but I`m always open to new experiences with a patient family by my side.I’m so ready to leave my tough beginnings behind and find a loving home where I can be the loyal, affectionate companion I was meant to be. Are you the one who will show me what forever love feels like?I qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I’m the perfect fit for your family!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lottie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
