My story

    Hello, my name is Bento! Aren’t I handsome? I’m an almost10 year old Chihuahua and Pekingese mix. I’m house trained, crate trained, and walk well on leash. I have the softest fur…perfect for petting!   My favorite activities include playing with my toys, exploring the yard, and relaxing next to person. I’m friendly to everyone including people, other dogs, and even cats. I don’t bark much and only shed a little.   My back knee joints bow out a bit, but I get around okay. I had some seizures a long time ago, but they are well controlled by medicine that I take twice per day.   I would like a quiet home to spend my golden years. I still have a lot of living and loving to do, and I can’t wait to find someone to share in that!
