My story

Meet Bullet, a sweet and speedy young pup who’s ready to race his way into your heart! Bullet was surrendered by his loving owner due to ongoing health issues, but it’s clear this boy has been well-loved. He’s described as friendly, affectionate, and great with kids, other dogs, and even cats. In his previous home, Bullet lived indoors, was fully housebroken, and loved nothing more than hugs, attention, and sprinting around the yard. He’s a high-energy guy who’d thrive in a home with space to run—a fenced yard is a must for this zoomie king! Out on walks, Bullet is a total joy—he prances down the street with confidence and charm, impressing everyone he meets. He knows his name, "sit," and gets excited when you say "walk!" Volunteers adore him, calling him “awesome,” “easy,” and “super friendly.” He’s gentle on leash, easy to handle, and always happy to meet new friends. Though he was a little confused and vocal after surgery during a recent meet, Bullet still welcomed pets and affection. He’s an incredibly resilient and loving boy who just needs a second chance to be part of a family again. If you’re looking for a smart, sweet, and social companion who’s just as fast as he is affectionate, Bullet is your guy. Come meet him—you’ll fall in love in no time! Behavior Notes: Per volunteer 5/20/25: Awesome dog, great walker, actually prances when he walks. Sweet, knows sit, his name. Super friendly, easy to leash, easy in/out. Absolutely nothing negative about this dog. He's good with kids too per his surrender owner Marie I marked him green so people would take him out. He needs to move. Per staff 5/18/25: Did a meet. He was awake from sx but still seemed a bit confused. He was whining the entire time during the meet. He did solicit attention and allowed pets but seemed very unsettled. Per owner 5/17/25 (Owner had Bullet for 1 year/8 months, but needed to surrender due to their health and being in and out of the hospital and not able to care for him): Describe your pet's personality, their likes/dislikes, and general behavior in the home: Friendly, runs very fast , loves to eat, knows his name, loves hugs and kidded, loves other dogs Who lives in the home with your pet: Adults: 1 adult Is your pet housebroken/litter trained: Yes fully Does your pet live inside, outside, or both: Inside What is your pet's energy level like: High energy Does your pet know any commands: "Sit!!
