My story

People have TOLD Barb that she is not a baby kitten anymore. They said that she does not need to play enthusiastically with every possible toy, purr immediately when petted, demand to be held like a baby for belly rubs, or ride around on her people's shoulders while chatting about everything she sees! ...Barb did not listen to those people. She is enthusiastically living her best life as a two-year-old baby who wants nothing more than to be played with, cuddled, carried, brushed and babied while she chirps, meows, and purrs her approval. And when she's not in snuggle mode, you'll find her hunting and pouncing every toy-like object she can find. Barb is comfortable with other cats and very friendly, curious and approachable, though she has not interacted with dogs or young children. She is currently in foster care and looking for her new favorite people! Age: 1.5 years How I came to PAWS: found stray Animal ID#: A179499 Location: foster care- this pet is not at the shelter! Please email danina.garcia@gmail.com to learn more about this pet! PAWS is the city's largest rescue partner and provider of low-cost, basic veterinary care. Through our adoption locations, special events, and network of foster homes, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals every year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.  Please visit  www.phillypaws.org  for more information on adopting, fostering, volunteering, or donating.   May 17, 2025, 2:27 pm
