My story

Meet Enrique!He’s come such a long way since I started fostering him. He was a scared little guy at first, but now he feels like just another member of the family alongside my two dogs. He walks well on a leash—either solo or with his foster brothers—and is such a good boy on walks. He does all his business outside like a champ. Enrique sleeps well through the night and can either stay in his playpen or sleep with us on the bed. His favorite things are long walks and playing with all his toys. He loves everyone he meets! Sometimes it takes him a few minutes to warm up, but once he does, he’ll shower you with kisses and rubs. He doesn’t have separation anxiety and is very well-behaved.He does enjoy chewing on his bones, so having a few around keeps him happy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Enrique would do well in a home where someone is around often or not gone all day—he really loves to be by your side. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2402391##
