Lexi

My story

Lexi is a sweet senior Maltese with a tender heart and a love for the simple things in life—soft blankets, cozy spots, and a kind human by her side. She’s happiest cuddled up next to you or lounging in a warm sunbeam. Cold weather is not her favorite, so she’s hoping for a home where she’ll be kept warm, safe, and loved. At her age, Lexi is past the puppy chaos and prefers a calm, predictable environment. She enjoys gentle playtime in short bursts but is mostly a laid-back companion who just wants to be near her people. She gets along well with other dogs but would do best in a home without young children or fast-moving activity, as she can be startled. Lexi is blind in one eye, has had a few teeth removed, and lives with a heart murmur—but don’t let that fool you. She’s still got plenty of love to give and joy to share with the right family. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and ready for her well-deserved retirement in a quiet, caring home.
