My story

Prince 3 YO 60 Pounds Dog Savvy Kid Friendly Leash Trained Fostered in Eugene, OR Hi, I'm Prince! I am a beautiful Boxer that turns heads when I am out and about, I think it is my trim, well-muscled physique that people notice while I am on my beloved 3-mile daily walks.  I have a lot of energy and am very active so I am hoping to find a home that will continue my daily exercise. I get very excited to go on walks so I do still pull a little at first, a strong leader to help me work on improving my leash skills would be helpful. Once underway, I do calm down and then walk very well on the leash. I am extremely curious and spend my days sniffing spots inside and outside the house and love to watch the sights out the front window. I was recently rescued from a homeless camp, so a new, safe, and healthy home has been a new experience for me. I have had some work to do to be ready for my new home, I have gained weight and learned a lot of new things. I love food so much that I blow bubbles watching my family eat, I am working on not begging and am getting better, especially now that I know I will have my own meals. I often lie down with a chew toy to calm himself and keep busy, I have very good house manners and will only get on the couch if invited. At night I sleep on my dog bed at the foot of my fosters bed, and I don't move all night. I get anxious when I see other animals on my walks and at the vet so I will need a family that is patient and will help me work on this. I have come a long way with my foster family and am hoping for a family to call my own. I want to be your next loyal, happy family member.
