SAILOR*

My story

Sweet Sailor could be PACC’s day trip spokesperson…er, spokespup. He is a FAVORITE among community members to “check out” for the day and take out on the town! On one day trip, Sailor got to go for a run, hang out at Borderlands Brewing, meet people at Scented Leaf, and lounge around on the couch. He was described as curious, playful, and confident; he was sociable and fun, knows tricks, likes to run, and was a couch potato. “Sailor was so well-behaved inside and didn’t jump up on the couch until I let him know it was okay! Very sweet boy who loves to explore and meet people. While at home he followed me around right by my side and snuggled into my lap. He also loves belly rubs!”Another friend said the following:“Sailor is such a sweet boy! He definitely loves exploring and meeting new people. He`s very curious and followed me very closely around the house. After a busy day he enjoyed a nap on the couch and all the belly rubs! Such a social and cuddly guy. Sailor warmed up to me almost immediately and had no problem going up to people to say hi! We saw a couple other dogs out but he did not bark or try to interact. He really loves cuddles and will lean right into you for pets!”Volunteers at the shelter also love this great guy, with one saying:“Sailor is a good walker, gives a nice sit, gives paws, makes good eye contact, takes treats gently, likes petting, and is affectionate. He’s easy to handle and a friendly, nice dog.”Sailor shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. As much as Sailor loves his day trips, what he’s really hoping for is to find a furever family who will include him in their daily lives. He doesn’t need adventure, he’s just hoping for a loving family to call his own!
