My story

Hello friends! My name is Mister Murr, and I’m a four-year-old Chihuahua mix in search of my forever home. Let me tell you a bit about my journey. I somehow found myself at animal control in Yuma, and though I can’t recall how I got there, I stayed for a while. My quest for a loving family took me to Petsmart in Yuma where I stayed for a while, but sadly, no one chose me. Then, I embarked on a long ride to Phoenix to meet my new foster family. But alas, after just one week, they decided I wasn't friendly enough and planned to send me back. One week just isn't enough time to settle in and realize I'm in a safe place. Luckily, a kind volunteer stepped in and brought me to Central Arizona Animal Rescue before I could be transported back. Here, I've been friendly with the volunteers and even share a kennel with a larger female dog—we get along splendidly! I've been neutered, I'm current on my vaccinations, and I'm microchipped, so I’m ready to find my forever home. Please email mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment.
