My story

 Hi! I'm Axel, and I'm a gray boy kitty who is one year old. I'm a sweet, kinda shy guy, but I only need a little time to warm up to anyone who comes to see me. I really really love being pet, and I like to cuddle, too! You can pick me up and hold me, because I love that. I'm an intelligent guy who likes to watch what is going on from the safety of my cage. I am so ready for my furever family to find me!      The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    May 16, 2025, 9:20 pm
