My story
A27883 Blackjack is a black colored, approximately 8-year-old, 11-pound, neutered male, Domestic Short-Haired cat. He entered the shelter as a stray on 05-16-2025 and was not reclaimed by his unknown owner. Blackjack is a friendly, but timid and shy senior boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why he is here. Easy to handle and will snuggle into your arms as you carry him. In the playroom he cautiously explored the area but kept a constant watch around the room and ultimately hid under some furniture. Our staff believes once he is comfortable in a new forever home, he will have a bigger loving personality. He just needs a patient new owner to give him a little time to decompress. You will be rewarded with a forever loving companion. Blackjack will be a loyal, loving companion in his new forever home.
