My story

Meet Bebe, the sweetest girl on campus. Literally! This girl wants nothing more than to show off her biscuit making skills, sit in your lap, or even have you hold her as she purrs away. She simply cannot get enough affection and attention, and will even paw at the staff walking by her kennel to demand pets! After Bebe arrived at Animal Friends, she spent some time in one of our many foster homes, recovering from a respiratory infection called Calicivirus. Calicivirus is a respiratory illness that can include the presence of oral ulcers, causing the tongue to be pushed forward and out of the mouth. While she is feeling all better now, Bebe’s little, pink tongue sometimes does hang out of her mouth. You have to admit, it makes her irresistibly adorable! Bebe doesn’t mind her special look and it doesn’t affect her eating or grooming habits. She also is a kitty who will most likely have chronic upper respiratory infections - meaning she may sometimes be a bit snarfly and sneezy - but she doesn't let this get her down or impeed her biscuit making! She is FIV+, which makes her slightly more vulnerable to infections. However, FIV+ cats are fully capable of enjoying a long and happy life in a forever home! Want to meet the best biscuit maker in town? Fill out an application -> thinkingoutsidethecage.org All of our animals are altered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines before being made available for adoption.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt BeBe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
