My story

Hi, I’m Pinky—and if you’re looking for the very best boy, look no further!A wonderful foster family took me in—and wow, they say I’m the best foster dog they’ve ever had! I’m happy, well-mannered, and full of love.I’m a great mix of chill and energetic. I enjoy lounging on the couch, taking long naps, or nibbling on my soft squeaky toys (I mostly use them as pillows—I`m that gentle). But I’m also always ready for a walk or a jog. I’m a good leash walker, though I do get excited when I spot a squirrel, cat, or another dog!I’m crate trained and potty trained, and I know tons of commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” “paw,” and even “touch” (I love booping your hand with my snoot for a treat). I sleep quietly through the night in my crate, but I’m also totally trustworthy when left out—I just snooze on the couch while you`re gone.I’ve lived with cats before, and my current foster home has THREE of them! I was a little too excited at first, but with a slow intro, I’ve become a perfect gentleman. Now they even let me sniff their noses. I`ve had mixed reactions to other dogs, so slow introductions is key - or I`m fine with being the only dog in the homes as well. I’m polite with strangers too—soft, wiggly, and respectful. No jumping, no barking at the doorbell. Just charm. Now, I do not like the Roomba (who does, really?). It scared me once, and I avoid it like the plague. But otherwise, I’m pretty fearless—even thunderstorms don’t faze me. Oh, and I have a hidden talent… I sing along to the “White Lotus” theme song. My foster mom says my husky-style howl is beautiful. My perfect home? Somewhere with a yard or someone who can take me on long walks. Mostly, I just want a family I can count on forever.Love,PinkyI qualify for Foster First, which means you can foster me for 14 days prior to adoption to ensure I’m the perfect fit for your family!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pinky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
